Using a 3D designing tool, students will also engage in creating a model rocket enhancing their design and engineering skills in a hands-on way. Students will also examine the unique challenges of living in space, such as how astronauts eat and survive in microgravity, and will be encouraged to develop creative solutions for sustainable food production in space, experimenting with hydroponic and aeroponic plant-growing systems.They’ll explore innovative structures like tensegrity for building rovers. In addition, the course will cover crucial issues like space pollution and the long-term effects of debris on future missions. Through hands-on projects and interactive experiments, students will prototype models, cultivate scientific curiosity, thinking creatively and critically to understand and tackle the challenges of future space exploration.
