This course is designed to introduce young students to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence, unlocking their potential to create, design, and experiment with AI tools in fun and imaginative ways. Over 20 immersive hours will help students embark on a journey to understand how AI works and its role in everyday life, starting from basic AI concepts to hands-on projects like chatbots and AI-driven games.

Students will use platforms based on block-based coding, Teachable Machines, and No Code Generative AI tools like Hugging Chat to develop simple AI models and creative projects. Through block-based coding and Teachable Machines, they will train AI models to recognize objects, generate music, and even control games using physical sensors. Each day brings a new AI challenge, whether it is making interactive podcasts, experimenting with text-to-speech technology, or creating games controlled by hand gestures and circuits using Makey Makey.

This program engages learners in the scientific study of colour through investigations of crystallisation, chromatography, refraction, dispersion, photodegradation and pigment extraction. It emphasizes physical vs chemical transformations, the ecological functions of colour and the comparative properties of natural and synthetic dyes, while applying this knowledge through design-based experiments and creative expression.

This course introduces young learners to the wonders of colour as both science and self-expression, sparking curiosity through playful, hands-on experiences. Over 18 immersive hours, children will explore how colours mix, change and transform through experiments with crystallisation, natural dyes, sunlight prints, bubbles and refraction rainbows.
